Great App
The paid version is well worth it. I have a very small woodworking business and this saves me so much time and so much money by significantly reducing wasted material.

I have tried several applications for CutList and this one is the best of the best, help you to maximize your material on any kind of project that requires cuts. Handles cuts in an nice organized easy to work with keep everything smooth A+ app. The support is Top-notch A+++.
Does a good job of giving you an orderly means to make the most of your lumber & other materials. Would be even better if I could make a digital checklist so that once I have my parts list and start cutting, I could tap and check off the pieces I’ve already cut so I have a running tab of what’s been finished and what’s left to cut. That, or at least maybe the option in the existing cut list at the top if I could tap the section I’ve finished and have it turn red to indicate it’s done so I have an immediate visual reference of where I’m at in the cut list progress. Other than that it’s a solid, highly recommend app for organizing efficient woodworking projects.
This is very useful for project planning and minimizing waste. My only suggestion would be to added the ability edit part placement on the cut list. It would be very useful when I need to grain match parts together. Overall I am super happy with this app.
Lots of manual work and seems useful for optimizing material. I gave up on it fora whole house project. Reordering groups has a bug that after reordering, they go back to alphabetical order. Cant duplicate whole groups, just parts which means you have to move each part one by one to create a duplicate group. If you forget to hit save before moving to the next part, it does not remember the changes or give a warning that changes weren’t saved. Unless you notice the miss, cutlist will be wrong
I was looking for an inexpensive, easy-to-use application to generate cut lists and found Offcuts. The interface is intuitive and I was able to generate my first cut list within minutes. The developer’s online support is also simple to use if you have any questions. Try this, you’ll like it!
I am so happy with this app, I’m sure it saved me at least a day or 2 of laying out my cuts on paper and reduced my waste and errors. With the price of materials this will pay for itself many times over. After getting the feel for the software and how to organize my project, it took me less than 30 minutes to get the data entered for my kitchen cabinet project. Because they offer a generous trial period I could have finished my project without paying for it but I would have felt guilty and cheap. It is obvious that much time and effort went into building this software and I am very impressed with it.

I downloaded the free trial version. It was incredibly easy to enter in all the data, and i thought it did a great job plotting out, with minimal waste. I was disappointed that i could not print more than 1 page in the first 3 day trial, without upgrading. I understand why they did this, so that you do upgrade. If i had a business, i would wouldn’t hesitate buying it for $14.99, but for the hobbiest that may only use this a few times a year, I feel that may be a bit more than I want to spend.
I can’t image starting a large build without the app generated PDF print out on my clipboard. Best cut list app I’ve used so far. Bonus points for being more accurate with estimating costs!
