This app is full of old posts of sellers who don’t even sell anymore, bots and scammers. For these sellers it has no posted date or when they were last active yet their accounts are still up?! Not to mention that this app is really slow. Seems like OfferUp refuses to fix anything on their trash app go to fb marketplace instead
Its gotta be the worst marketplace app put there. I have sold at least 20 items on here, throughout the years. I have been using this app since around 2015. At first, it was full of honest people. And now, it is full of scammers. All they do is constantly search and low ball EVERYONE. You are selling a brand new Iphone? Well I will waste your time and ask you to sell it to me for a ridiculous price and drop it off. Beware! They typically will low ball you and then after you try to meet them, they will be be like “Oh if I pick it up, then you have to take 20$ off the price.” Its ridiculous and then you look at they’re selling location and they are 2 minutes away from you. So you can literally meet in the middle. The developers DO NOT continuously block scammers so the app is full of them. Either they low ball you or ask if you can meet them in remote locations at night. JUST USE Meta MARKETPLACE, Poshmark, or Ebay. Way easier to deal with and less scammers, in my opinion.

They disable my accounts for no reason at all! Talkin bout I was be disrespectful to clients but I don’t even be on here. I go weeks without using offer up! Now they have something that prevents ppl from viewing my products! No one answers my text! And the price for things are mind boggling! This app is TERRIBLE!
After searching and viewing some items 5-10 you get a 5 second ad that will keep going unless you choose to skip and close it. Makes a terrible experience. Looking to move off of it. Just go to Craigslist or facebook marketplace where ads aren’t as in your face.
OfferUp cancelled order after shipment, be aware, don’t use their shipping service, or you guys loose money and package! Use only sell in person, you would be protect your sales yourself! OfferUp don’t have real support. They only have unhelpful asking question service. Do not choose to ship!!!
OfferUp is better when it first came out and it just had private sellers with people actually selling stuff now it’s just a bunch of advertisements and different companies selling their merchandise with ads

been a user for many years, uninstalled when they recently started spammkng with notifications and ads. shame cuz i used it all the time. meh.
