Ohme

Bought our first EV and dealer installed OHME home pro as part of the deal, the blue link software doesn’t integrate with OHME so I can’t actually get the app to see my cars battery state and plan the charge. When trying to link Octopus to the app it works but there has been times when I set the car to smart charge, my car would charge outside of off peak tariffs and I would be billed at full price as well as the car wouldn’t charge and the car kept kicking up errors saying car can’t charge must be a problem. Only way around it is to set max charge to 60% and set the time and not use any of the smart features!

Why can’t this App just link with the Audi Connect App and charge the car to the % set. I set to charge, then in the Morning it’s set to a random day and time in the future so not charged. Also the latest version doesn’t allow you to set to a % but rather the % you want to add. Unfortunately the Audi and Octopus App doesn’t work like this. Clearly the Devs don’t all drive EVs

The old app was great and simple to use. This new one is confusing and doesn’t always charge as much as you it too. It’s frustrating I have to spend 10 mins everytime I plug in the car to make sure it will charge up to 80% by the time I need it…

Can’t find Inteligent Octopus Go tariff on the list. There is no “dynamic charging “ switch visible in every article, finally there is no way to contact after sale support. Meh..

The app is unreliable when it. Ones to approving plug in, leaving it up to 10mins of continuous trying to approve and start a charging session. The limitations also doesn’t always work - I can often set 80% and it charges fully.

This charger has recently been causing me issues with reliably charging my Audi eTron. It starts charging on allocated “smart charging” times and then come morning it’s barely charged because it’s charged at a WAY lower wattage than the 7kwh that it’s meant to charge at. And as of right now, it won’t even connect to allow me to charge it! I approve the plug-in and it tells me via the Ohme app that it was unable to connect to my charger. I tried to turn off the charger at the mains and switch back on but the problem persists. This shouldn’t happen in the first place. What’s the point in a HCU if you can’t use it! I’ve had this charger less than a year and was supplied new as part of a deal with Audi. Not a good product.

Not happy at all. The charger is offline all the time. The smart charge is horrible and doesn’t work as promised.

Previously the charge was automatic and since new update, it’s has been a headache as you have to wake up to charge at 11:30 to take the benefit of low rates of electricity. Also now the charge goes beyond the off peak electricity charge times hence costing more!

Routines sometimes don’t work . Can’t schedule charge.

The app has been updated and it is now really poor to use..It is now impossible to just set it to work on a reasonable timer to charge when you want it to charge. Theyhave tried to make it too clever and it simply does not work properly.
