Old Man’s Journey+

I’ve never experienced anything like this. Fun and low key game dynamics just challenging enough moved the narrative forward. The art is simple, bright, and beautiful. No words, no dialogue, but it says so much. Don’t play this in a parking lot like I did or folks will stare at you crying at your phone. Thank you! This game is a gift to remind us all of what’s important.

Edit: after days of deleting & reinstalling this game I finally realize it was something I didn’t do so I could continue to make progress in the game, so I changed my review to 5 stars.. Oops. Lol Was enjoying this game until I got to the 3rd chapter from the end. The old man is stuck in the back of the truck. I tried restarting the level, then deleting the app, then reinstalled it, restarted the level again & again AND he’s STILL sitting in the back of that darn truck for hours. It won’t load no matter what I do. PLEASE fix this. I’m getting extremely annoyed now over a game (this is a first for me , lol). I want to finish the game already.

At first I thought it was just a peaceful game, but the pictures in the game show everything without saying nothing. 100% recommended

This was one of my favorite games to play as I dozed off into dream land. The art is vibrant and beautiful while also having a somber yet sweet story. You guys did a great job and I’m really happy you didn’t drag it out. The ending was such a great conclusion. I appreciate the time I spent playing this and look forward to any other games you may come out with. Keep the stories coming 🖤

Just finished it with tears rolling down my face. The environment is so beautiful, the perception of the game field is fantastic. But that story…as an oldish man this hits hard and actually entices me to reconnect with my own. A rare, pure thing from a game. Congratulations on a masterpiece in its own right.

This is one of my all time favorite games. It is exceptional in so many ways, in terms of story telling, graphics, gaming structure and interface, you name it. This game “touched me.”

Es un juego sobre conectar caminos con pequeños puzzles que no son difíciles de resolver, más que desafiante diría que es relajante no solo por su ritmo pausado sino por sus gráficos que parecen pintados a manos y que cada escenario me producen una inmensa nostalgia; sin embargo si le hubiese caído bien más puzzles y que no todo fuera subir y bajar líneas. De todos modos últimamente no es común conseguir juegos que me mantenga jugando hasta el final y este lo logró.

About 3-4 hours long. Beautiful animation and a heartfelt story. Kudos to the developers. I enjoyed it but wish there was a little more meat on the bone.

The graphics and art are fantastic. This is a unconventional game that’s relaxing, yet thought provoking with puzzles. It’s slow paced and ends before I was ready for it to be over. This may not be the right game for every gamer but I found it a little one of a kind gem that left me wanting to see where I would go next. I hope there’s more chapters.
