(OLD) Warhammer 40,000:The App

The potential to be a great rule and list building tool are here. The visuals aren’t editor, Battleforge, offers a glimpse of what this app could be. Unfortunately it’s troubled by two big issues: a too complicated paywall (requiring both a subscription and the buying of physical books?!) and way too many bugs. This app requires a good product owner to bring it from heresy into the light…

Almost everything is locked behind a paywall, and even with a subscription you’ll need to buy a copy of an codex book to add to this app. Not worth the money

The lists don’t make sense…the app is unclear, and creating a list is very hard to understand. It really is atrocious. Released codexes are not supported. Get your act together gw…this is heresy

Eventough Games Workshop is billing me monthly for this app it is absolutely riddled with errors. Mostly wrong point costs. Even the poster boy faction Space Marines is full of these errors. Can't make a legal list with GW own app..

FAQ from over 6 months ago isn’t even applied. Can’t even make a legal list from the 9th edition armies that got their codex in the first wave. Absolute embarrassment.

Not a complete app

Battle forge is a really nice. Took me a bit to figure it out to understand it, it’s really great. Welcome additions would be duplication of models in a unit (e.g. skyweavers), so you wouldn’t have to repeat setting loadout. Also, I can’t find the pivotal roles for harlequins from the White Dwarf.

You can do nothing without paying subscription. Scam.

Why does Age of Sigmar has all the warscrolls for free and this app is just here to bait you into a subscription? Even after buying a codex you cannot have the same functionality as the AoS app. Shameful and very disappointing.
