Don’t force users to sign up to marketing emails - it’s illegal

I am an Apple Pay person. I don’t give away my card just like that. I don’t see any guarantee Ole & steen have the correct infrastructure to encrypt credit card information up to the correct standard, nor there is any mention of the 3rd party who stores it. Without this info, my conclusion is they probably have an engineer in their early career dumping my debit card info into a mysql instance in plain text. My suggestion for customers is do not input your debit card until they communicate their security standards for its storage. My advice for the developers is don’t use debit cards as the customer identifier. Use the email or a username as everyone else, stop making it a requirement, and default to ApplePay in iOS
