Well Worth It
I’ve had One Medical for about 3 years now. 2 years ago we moved away from their physical locations so we’ve been using their virtual only services as a supplement to our local PCP.
It’s been EXTREMELY convenient and well worth the money. I just had a positive flu test and within 20 minutes had spoken with a provider and had my tamiflu Rx sent in. The shortest wait I could find at a local urgent care was 4 hours!
I’m so glad we decided to give the virtual services a shot. It’s nice to have 24/7 access to care and they’ve come in handy for bridge prescription refills when I can’t get into my PCP and when I’m sick I don’t have to wait hours or days to be seen.
10/10 would recommend.
Privacy & Security
Unlock with Face ID randomly turns off with no human intervention. So I have to intervene to cut it back on within the app once again smh. This is a bug that needs to be addressed since this is a privacy and security concern.
Doesn’t scale on iPad
It starts in a tiny window on iPads.

Don’t hesitate
My girlfriend told me about One Medical a few times, and I ignored her until I actually needed it. I have been thoroughly impressed with how easy, comprehensive, and pleasant my experience has been with One Medical.
Surprisingly Bad
I was willing to try them as shaking up the health care industry. Then I got a bill over $1000 for a 15 minute diagnosis of strep throat. And in the clinic I was told to my face that it was covered by insurance. It turns out making a nice app probably helps them just hide prices. Definitely never using again.

Better than my actual insurance and provider
My NP was quick and thorough, the wait was less than 15 minutes. After hours of dealing with my insurance this will be my first choice next time around.

Beware. May not respond to request for prescription. They ignored me. I cancelled.
