This is a straightforward app to help you achieve a chosen mind-state by generating what are known as "binaural beat audio waves" through your headphones, either from your iOS device or your Apple Watch.
Depending on the frequency that you pick, based on the chart included in the app, it can potentially help with sleep, meditation, relaxation, or even for getting a short burst of energy.
I have used similar apps for a while and have found them useful in helping me relax, or helping me float into a creative mood - Except most are overloaded with features that I never use and also cost money, have in-app purchases for "special programmes" and so on.
So I decided to build one that does the same, works offline, has no ads or spying, works well, and is free. There's also an Apple Watch app included which you can use if you're mediating or relaxing away from your phone.
As such, this app just generates the binaural frequency audio hum, and some optional white or brown noise to help mask outside sounds. You can then put it in the background and combine its audio with any other sound generator you like, or play music, radio, and so forth. All it does is to create the useful brainwave frequency, and then it gets out of your way.

First of all, thank you for creating a beautifully simple, elegantly functional, and truly useful app. Second, thank you for releasing it for free. No bells, whistles, unnecessary features or annoying adverts. No subscription, not even a one-off payment. Free. I don’t know exactly how much work goes into creating something like this but it’s not easy, I’m sure. I use this app along with Spotify every day to help me focus and ease the symptoms of my ADHD. Thank you once again.
Perfect as a tinnitus sufferer
This is just what I needed. I like brown noise and binaural sound to help me sleep and mask my low frequency tinnitus. During the day when it’s bothering me I listen to audiobooks but with this app I can listen to my book and have Ooooo playing brown noise at the same time which is bliss. Great, great app that I’m very grateful for!

A refreshingly utilitarian little tool that does its job perfectly well without bothering its user with the usual log-ins, upgrade offers, subs, ads, feature bloat or faff. Sincere thanks to this clear-headed developer.
Perfectly simple = simply perfect
Praise to the designer/ developer of this app. It’s really works as you want it to and dispenses with all the fuss and up selling of in-app purchases. Easy to use and customize to suit your mood and desired results.
I don’t really have problems sleeping but I set it frequency to 2hz, tone to 86Hz and volume at 50% and I had the deepest sleep and vivid dreams since I was a kid!
