Additionally, OpenTable customers should use the iPad app for cloud-based front-of-house
guest and table management, shift planning, and more.

The app doesn’t sync with multiple devices. It literally takes 10 minutes to do something super simple like change the time/date or guest count. If your using the computer forget it! You’ll be there all day just to change one little thing. On the shift overview you can’t stop to look at a note because the app will glitch and bring you back up to the top of the page again.
Terrible app
I wish I could rate it 0 stars. Constantly logging me out, can’t do anything on the mobile app besides booking reservations. You can’t block dates anymore on the app. And the customer service representatives need a lot of help and training because they seem very confused and have no clue how to do anything. A simple request can take up to 1 hour on the phone for literally a 30 second task. Terrible for such a big company.
I love logging in every other time I use the app!

Broken After Update
You can no longer scroll horizontally or use the numbers in the top left corner to seat walk-ins after the latest update today. App is broken.
Newest Update does not work great
I am a hostess at a restaurant that uses Open Table and I have always loved it… until the most recent update. I will have my waitresses tables sat and their numbers are correct.. and then when they are removed from the assigned table their numbers go down. Showing an inaccurate number of heads for my girls! And if they are removed from their assignments (at the end of their shift for example) it completely removes their head count!!! Please bring back the old head counts!!
Pretty good
Overall this app does what I need. My only gripe is that after the latest iPhone iOS 18 update, the “history” button in guest reservations doesn’t automatically bring you down to the history. You can click it and click it, and ultimately have to scroll down to guest history. Not inconvenient, just incredibly annoying.
Open table…you’ve disappointed me
We opened a bar/restaurant earlier in 2024 and utilized Toast Tables FOH and BOH until recently. OpenTable was the obvious choice, given how prolific it is, the number of users on the customer app and the built in marketing it affords a venue when those users haven’t made up their mind where they want to eat.
That said, OT needs to take several pages out of the ToastTab playbook. The user interface in OpenTable for owners is incredibly clumsy, has tiny print that is impossible to read on a phone, and glitchy to no end. How can a company with so much market share be so behind on its GUI?!
By the looks of it, ToastTables is constantly coming up with new features, and, in this owner’s view, it won’t be long before TT provides a guest platform to rival OT. When it does, bye bye OT, as Toast’s back end is excellent for small businesses.

This app and all of its glitches and persistent log outs that never get fixed makes me consider switching to Rezy.
Very Buggy!!
Always logs me out randomly at the most inconvenient times as well as rearranging the guest list from ascending by reservation time to party size with the only way to fix it being deleting the entire app and redownloading it.
