Operation World

Organized, efficient and effective way of sharing a daily pray for a different country each day. Is has the critical information we need to pray for every nation, in order to accomplish our duty of praying the Lord of the harvest to send workers.

The information is dated. For example, today’s information on Macau is from sources eight to thirteen years ago.

Update: I have found that if I daily go to the app’s settings and click to open my phone’s notification settings, it picks up the choice I have made and the next day, I get my reminder to read and pray. I appreciate this app and the work that goes into keeping it updated. I like that information is obtained from people who are working in the area or who are knowledgeable. It is a helpful tool for praying intentionally. Sadly, my app often doesn’t notify me. I have to remember to to open it. Also sadly, my mind doesn’t do a great job either, so I often miss days.

Can we get a update that allows for a widget option for iPhone?

I am so glad to have this wonderful resource to help me pray for the nations. I have the Operation World book but am grateful for the shorter nation summaries in the app. Thank you to the developer! However, I’d like to ask for one change. It’s so distracting to have the graphics constantly moving, cycling through. I would love for them to be static and have the freedom to swipe through them as I wish. Should be easy to do! Thank you and God bless you for the massive amount of work you’ve done on this project. It is an amazing resource and gift to the body of Christ!

The notifications stopped working

This app is really helpful for giving a global perspective to how we can pray for the nations. However, several countries have SO much information it is difficult to read through, or understand without history. I appreciate the world map, and the flag. Sometimes countries are doubled up and other countries get multiple days which seems odd.

I am really enjoying this app. I love how much useful information you get in such concise bundles. This apps helps me focus on what God is doing all over the world and pray for specific needs. I shared this app with my whole church on their FB page.

Great information and prayer points are available for every country. This app not only has great content but works well. I’ve been using the app since January and haven’t experienced any bugs or freezes. I do have some questions about how up to date all of the information is, but world situations can change quickly.
