Orthodox Prayers for Parents

There are few apps as lovely and simple as this one. I find it very elegant. However, I wish it wasn’t just for orthodox parents. Why not include a general akathist or two? Why only be able to pray for godchildren or the suffering? I would love if the creators would expand it slightly. Then those of us without children and without godchildren won’t feel like maybe it’s better for other people to use. Thank you for your good work.

This has enabled me to be more consistent in praying and praying for family. I have been using it for four years.

Finally an daily prayer app that allow you to subdue your iPhone to do the work of God! I usually avoid Apps with few reviews but this exception to that rule turned out to be a blessing. The link to the Orthodox Bible is great but It would be great if they could link it to the orthodox study Bible which has a NKJV NT The super king James English is difficult at times to ingest.

This a beautiful app that is very user-friendly. I like being able to customize my daily prayer rule as well as being able to add loved ones and God children to the intercessory list. The quotes at the opening of the app always help to draw me in to a more thoughtful and reflective place before praying. Very handy and inspirational. Bravo!

Feeling generally ambivalent about the relationship of the soul and technology, I am truly relieved to have found an app that facilitates - in fact, on some days, makes possible - my spiritual life. This app is calming and simple in its design, which allows you to truly focus on the content (the prayers) and not the medium. The selection of prayers is wonderful, but if you are easily overwhelmed by choices and the temptation to prayer-graze, the customizable prayer rule helps you keep focused and not get overwhelmed. My favorite feature is the customizable prayer list. I've wanted a digital prayer list for years and the format, with mini-profiles for each person complete with pictures, seems to utilize the potential of the technology very well. I'll close by saying that the biggest blessing has been in finding an aide to inner stillness and quiet that I might have ears to hear the still, small voice. Blessings to the team who created this app. It is eternal work!

This app is very well made and has all the prayers I need on it! I find it helpful to use especially when I'm traveling or in class!

Love it! Completely customizable, wealth of prayers, I can keep several prayer lists at a time. Moves gracefully from one screen to the next and seamlessly moves to daily readings within the Orthodox study bible. Awesome!!!!

I have this Akathist and feel so blessed to have these additional amazing prayers. The morning and evening prayers are wonderfully chosen with check marks to make it shorter or longer. The link to the bible is amazing for daily readings. The daily psalms are beautifully perfect. It is a touch of monasticism for those in the world. The lovely peaceful and gentle monasticism which feels like one is on hands of God. All God asks is for us to ask and He sends His grace. May we struggle to accept deification and encourage its develop and fear sin which stops this development!

This app is so beautifully designed and easy to use you won't believe it. Clearly the developers had a passion for this project, and took great time in planning and producing this tool. The interface is elegant and intuitive, and the app is stable, working just as you would expect it too. Last but not least, it's so nice to have your daily prayers with you at all times, and an added "feature" for me is that the app icon is reminding me to say my prayers! You won't regret downloading this great app.
