Meter readings -> Gas crashes the app
Every time I open the app I have to log in. Which defeats the whole purpose of having an app.
After several months has still not updated our tariffs. No message facility to contact supplier via the app. Doesn’t show smart meter readings. Can’t change direct debit amount, now nearly £1000 in credit!
Outfox the market do not allow you The Customer to see your usage properly! You see a monthly total or meter reading as a number. There is no option like other suppliers to see your usage by day, and then by hour so you can see where your money is being spent. It is useless to be able to help you. All it allows you to do is see current settings and your bill. In this time where apps and websites can and do show so much outfox the market is stuck in the mid 2000s
Good app, easy to see statements, bills and update gas and electric. Shame the chat function isn’t on here though, the wait times calling are painful
Says “email must be valid” when I enter my email address which I successfully use to login to the Outfox website. I think it’s because there’s only one character before the @ symbol which has blown the mind of some websites before and now it’s the turn of this app. Shame!
The app does nothing more than the website portal that you can bookmark onto your phone’s screen, however it does save having to do that in the first place. Things that could be improved on: - a ‘remember me’ function when signing in on a non-shared device; - finger print and/or face recognition (I get that any new app will be a work in progress, but even so, such methods are now very widely used by many companies); - the option for notifications to flash up on your phone the day that meter readings are required; - a flashlight button would be really handy. How many people’s meters are in dark nooks and corners of their homes? Get the signing in sorted and it’ll be four stars. Build in a few bells and whistles, and it’ll be five.
