PaintRack is an indispensable tool for any modeler. When starting a new project, I always consult paintRack to determine all my paint needs. It’s a great for researching obscure FS codes and finding their equivalents. It an excellent and heavily used app!

This is the perfect app for any new or advanced painter. It will organize all your paints, and help you identify which paints you can/should wishlist. It also helps identify colors that work well together. Additionally, the developer is extremely responsive which is a such a positive.

Get this app if you’ve ever mistakenly bought the same paint twice because you weren’t sure if you had it at home. Update* Changed to 4*. After emailing with the team at paintRack some suggestions improved the usefulness of the paint match function: click the little number in the top right to view the color distance value from your color to the brand you’re searching- under 5 is a good match, 5-10 is okay-ish, more than 10 is a bad match. Not all brands will have a good match. I also made sure I didn’t have any restrictions in my megaFilter. I still get some matches for metallic paints when searching flat base paints so just keep a keen eye for paint type and only use metallic paints in the filter when you’re looking for metallic matches.

The tools and paint color data in this app is unrivaled. Only topped by the fact that the developer is SUPER responsive when you reach out with an issue (I did via Facebook). Don’t think about it, buy this app. It’s well worth it

I wish there was a quick add method like selecting all at once or add all of like army painter ones because they sell full sets can live without that feature. A total number of paints would be cool you should add that 🙃

Great app, that allows me to color match surprisingly well. Still need to further dive into the app but what I’ve used far has been great. Wish there was a bit more “access” on the free side of things, but it is worth its asking price for those wondering. Always glad to see it still gets updated, and hope Warpaint Fanatic are added in when the time comes

Love this app. Found out about it on Reddit in a miniature painters’ group. They named a couple but this one just checks more boxes. Easy to use. So great to keep a running inventory of my paints, and it’s also so easy to find a match when I don’t have an particular brand. I haven’t played much with triads yet but expect I will as my skills grow. Hoping the new AP Warpaints Fanatic gets added. Great work, please keep it up!
