Almost every morning I start my news consumption with People’s Daily. I like to see the events of China and the world through Chinese eyes before I start seeing everyone else’s perspective. I also read Al Jazeera, the BBC, CNN, and EuroNews. The reason I read PD first, is that I know I will get a distorted version of it from anywhere else. I do find that the coverage of Xi Xinping is little bit too much sometimes. I would like to see more of what is happening with the populace than with him, but I understand the need to write about him. While the “news” is my primary interest, one feature that I really love is the Chinese professor reading poetry. It is beautiful and I listen over and over to each one you publish. I wish there were more written about Chinese literature. I recently discovered the author Jia Pingwa. What a treasure. I think Chinese literature is not available enough here in the US. Literature can change the lens through which we see each other. Please share more about the best authors in China. 为什么关闭了消息推送通知，还一直发，不分白天晚上，几次周末早上7点多就被叫醒（我睡眠浅，以为是微信提示）。工作日开会，也会收到推送的通知声音。这点小设置都不能做好吗？只能删了这个奇葩玩意
