Phocus Mobile 2

Opens for 5 seconds then immediately crashes. I can’t do anything with it.

Initially the update made my photos disappear when selecting the downloaded image for processing. Still unresolved with technical I decided to update to 3.0.0 in hope it would resolve the issue. Now when attempting to open Phocus 2 Mobile it completely crashes and the app closes rendering my iPad unusable with the Hasselblad app.

For a mobile app Phocus 2 has some great technical abilities, especially for those on the go. However the recent updates have caused very noticeable moire and pattern noise on expert to JPEG. I hope they can return to the quality of previous versions.

App keeps randomly crashing after editing for a while. Reopening the last edited photo after a crash and touching a slider crashes the app again. Requires multiple reloads to be able to edit again. Sometimes crashing when resizing the window size when the stage manager is enabled using the mouse / magic keyboard pointer (when moving the pointer over the side of the window). iOS version is stable.

Open the app today, it’s auto-updated. And most of my photos are gone! Yippee! At first, I thought maybe it was set to show only photos from recent months, but then I couldn’t find anywhere to show all photos. I guess that’s all is left….GREAT!

This app is great, especially with the latest updates. It connects to your camera fast, it allows for remote shooting and live tethered shooting, you can do some basic editing, you can download pictures fast. It’s just great.

Nice but could be even better if it allowed the user to customise with name and date when downloading with Hasseblad insignia

x2d live view?

It’s an ok app but without Live View, what’s the point?
