This app enables the creation of 3d models on a mobile phone. Easy to navigate, edit and send to the desktop.

I took 20 pictures of an object on a turntable and imported them into PhotoCatch. In 2 minutes I got an incredibly detailed model with no flaws. The interface is simple, but does have a few options. Can't see that I need much else. I've just bought a £300 scanner that produces inferior results, so that's going up for sale now!

Tried using this with a series of sequential pictures with about 20 degrees between each from three angles, loaded them on a Mac with an M1 processor - the result was that I got an error message saying it could not process the images. Reduced the image load to a simple one angle - got awful results. The best model I got was the top of a small brown bottle - the rest of the bottle had been obliterated.

Object capture API is a game changer for people on Mac, and this is the only app to integrate it properly, when even Polycam and Reality Capture doesn't have it. Worked great even with poor lighting conditions

There is not a lot of help apart from the splash screen so it does seem a bit confusing to get started. However, if you have a folder of images each with a good overlap and 360 rotation then this app will generate excellent 3D models that can be imported into the likes of Blender or published to Sketchfab.

Tryed every way possible, but always gives me an error message saying my perfectly fine intel 2020 macbook pro is underpowered

no instructions. does not recognise any pictures in my mac. fed up of trying will be deleting

As of March 3rd 2024, the new update is basically useless even with subscription. We can’t choose the quality of models and we lost the option of using cloud service. Totally waste of subscription fee. Look for alternatives.
