This app has more bugs than any other. For example, you can't add a shared family member, when you logem via Apple ID. And when you add as a new user a nickname and switch to it´s account, you get stuck and can't go back. Etc., etc. Pimsleur is a good method, but this app is a disgrace to it.
Definitely worth the money. It makes you speak a little and there is a lot of repetition to remember all the new things.
I installed it, and wanted to spend the money, because of “Voice coach”. But. It doesn’t work, at least in Italian and don’t to spend time trying another languages. And another weakness: it doesn’t rotate the screen, only works in vertical position. I knew this study plan from the past and I kinda like it, but with these kind of bugs, I have to try another one.
I like this app. It really helps me to be more confident.
To key to learn any language is to get audio time. Pimsleur does that. Great tool!
Finally I speak.
As soon as i started to use it it feels very good and nice clean looking, i tried duolingo before but it was very annoying and nowdays with this lgbt stuff inside it i just could not stand it anymore, but this app is nice proffesional looking and im looking forward to use it. Also its great for travelling and listening in car. (Whitch i do a lot). Im now just in free trial but strongly thinking about staying for subscription (some sale would be nice, im waiting, haha)
It’s really good app for getting to speak a new language but it’s too damn expensive. A subscription plan will make you pay some 300 USD per year. Now that is too much when a normal person with 8 hour job and a life would manage to go through maybe 2 courses in one year. I stayed subscribed for 2 months and only managed to go through half of the course I started. I can’t pay any more money for the course. If I could just buy a course for fixed amount and own the course indefinitely, that would be a fair deal, but this is sadly not for me.
I had 2 years of Spanish class in high school, 2 semesters of Spanish in college, and WWOOFed in Costa Rica 10 years ago for a summer. I’ve tried duo since then, but pimsleur is the best at resuming the journey of learning a language (Spanish, for me)
