Great idea TERRIBLE execution

When the app works, it’s quite good. Unfortunately, most often it wakes up in an entirely new world and can’t find the Pioneer Elite receiver that’s on the EXACT same network that you’ve now set up for a 20th time.

Works but loses connection with music source

Yup

Same problem as the other guy.

Another useless app used a marketing tool

Always looks great on the box at the store but when the runner hits the road, this app spins completely out of control. When I open the app it’s says “connect to a WiFi network”. Hmm. Well I’m pretty sure I am yet it seems to think rats come from a time/space rupture. Good lord lads, just take this off the App Store already!

Doesn’t work

Says “Ease connect to a WiFi network” but I am already attached to my WiFi,,,

Play-Fi stopped working

It was all good till the moment when Play-Fi stopped working on my Pioneer VSX-103. No sound is coming from my speakers but I can stream via Apple TV though

Fails to play tracks to the end

It often skips from the middle of a track to the beginning of the next. This makes it pretty much unusable.

Has only worked sporadically

I wouldn’t recommend buying a product based on PlayFi, It’s really buggy and only works sporadically. Close to impossible to discover speakers and and add to a basic music group.
