This app looks and works like a traditional pitch pipe. It is easy to give a pitch unobtrusively from the midst of the choir.

I loved this app. I used it occasionally and it always did what I wanted. But on iOS 17.0.3 it crashes on launch. And it has not been updated for years.

There are newer options available now such as Tunable that include a tuner and metronome as long as with pitch, but for a buck this still does the job of a pitch pipe is the only thing you need. These tones are triangle wave I believe (keyboard mode), and sound less harsh. The pitch wheel is however kind of harsh.

This is a really nice and easy to use device. As a visually impaired musician, though, it does need some work to make it fully accessible. For example, when playing a guitar note, it’s not announced. Overall, though, a great app.
