9.5/10 It’s more than enough to pass plab 1 with flying marks! The 4 day session was totally worth it. Dr Adam and Dr Sze both help out a lot and answer to every query and help you clear your doubts. App needs a little more features to, rest is all perfect.

It was my first attempt and I passed comfortable with 146 above the required pass mark of 117. My only source of preparation was Plabable . Hence am so grateful for the detailed work by the Plabable team. Cheers

Great app

PLABABLE can and should be your only resource during PLAB 1 prep. It is the only resource I used and I think it prepared me sufficiently well for the exam! They have up to date information and all of it is extremely U.K. oriented and accurate -> this is because the whole team is filled with doctors who are actively working in the U.K. I have seen many cases of people getting confused over concepts because PLAB 1 resources have conflicting information between sources, this is why I recommend that you use PLABABLE alone. It is concise, clear, and accurate. You do not need anything else! As for my two cents on how to use PLABABLE to your advantage -> -> you should aim to finish the QBank once and then use their free timed mocks to pace yourself properly since insufficient time management practise is what trips up most people. You probably need 2 months of cursory practise and 1 month of intense practise. -> I would recommend buying the GEMS but make sure to use them to refer to topics AFTER you finish questions, if you refer to the GEMS first you tend to breeze through the QBank but it won’t stay in your mind for long. So imo it is better to attempt the QBank first, and then look at GEMS to reinforce the concepts. -> definitely worth subscribing to the revision course they hold about two weeks prior to the exam date! It comes with a big mock. The revision course is very helpful in getting you to focus on the important bits, it also reinforces what you know and makes recall easier (since you hear it being discussed in the course as opposed to just reading through the text in PLABABLE) -> the last minute revision course the day before the exam date was fun as well, I was too anxious so I subscribed to it. It’s not a necessity but if you’re anxious like me, it can really help calm your nerves and give you an added edge in last minute prep! It definitely leaves you feeling confident to take the exam

Best source for PLAB 1 materials and even for studying medicine they provide great resources and latest guidelines. You can depend only on plabable to pass your exam. Well organized and very helpful 👏👏 highly highly recommend
