Planet Theta’s mission is to make finding love safe and easy through VR dating. We believe everyone has a right to love. Regardless of who they are, where they are from, or who they love, everyone that comes to Planet Theta has a right to find love.
On Planet Theta every user is 100% guaranteed to go on VR dates within a few minutes of joining. There are only real people as users in VR Dating and the other Social VR spaces on Planet Theta.
Privacy & Security are our biggest priorities. We use quantum immune data protection to ensure your information is protected like no other dating app ever before. Whether looking for a relationship in VR or bringing your relationship to Planet Theta for Virtual dates we know how important security is, especially for women and other marginalized groups.
The basic concept of our matchmaking is simple. Users jump into our VR speed dating system by selecting the Micro-Dating queue. Our algorithm sets the users up on short VR dates with other users that meet their criteria. If they mutually enjoy chatting they can extend the micro-date into a virtual coffee date. Users can use that extra time to decide on giving each other a like and becoming a match.Once people on a date have been matched they can see each other’s full profile, send messages, share pics, and interact via this mobile app outside of VR. From there users can take their relationship or dating process wherever they’d like to go by either continuing to date in VR or meeting for themselves in person.
Planet Theta provides matchmaking in Virtual Reality, but more importantly Planet Theta provides the opportunity of a virtual space for the actual dating. We hope in our Social VR spaces, like Aaron’s Bar and more to come, you’ll find an actual community of folks to enjoy interacting with. Some people may prefer approaching Vr dating this way, and invite someone in a shared public space to join them on a date rather than using Micro-Dating. Some users may have other reasons, like a long-distance relationship, and may want to enjoy VR dates on Planet reason without the Matchmaking. We are dedicated to being the right space for your VR dating experience and we trust you to choose your own path.
Planet Theta can be launched from inside the Meta / Oculus App Labs tab and then can be entered using your Meta / Oculus Quest 2 or Quest Pro. You can enjoy VR Dating on stand alone use of the Quest 2 or Quest Pro.
