Why did you put some grandfather in your Ai's avatar?

While it manages to identify some problems with plants it gets lots of them wrong. For example told that frost had damaged the plants and to move from outside so they didn’t get frost bitten. We are in a semi tropical area with no frost. Don’t understand why it would not come up with a range of possible problems rather than just one. At least then I could find things that are more likely.

It may well work as advertised but it’s NOT free. Start it up and you get lovely welcoming screens before it tells you that you will be charged $49.95 after the first week. Try and cancel and it still says you’ve enrolled yourself into an annual charge against your Apple wallet. Delete the app immediately and I’ll have to wait to find out whether it has locked in that payment or not. Very sneaky, borderline unethical IMO.

It is worse at identifying plants than even the free iPhone photos app. Its diagnoses of problems are completely random. Save yourself the money and just use a free app for identification and then google or ask a free AI chatbot for care tips (and take everything with a grain of salt).

Just started using this app. Took a photo of our Tecoma through a window with a fly screen and it recognised the species immediately.

I have spent so long scrolling the internet for random questions about my plants but this app answers them so clearly and even thinks of extra information that I need. It’s very useful. I usually don’t like ai but this is how it’s supposed to be used. 10/10 5/5 get it if you have literally any questions about plants. There is a free option which is what I use and I haven’t had any problems

My plant has brown leaves but the app says it is a healthy plant. Only way to diagnose properly is to have someone look at it. I thought that was what the app was going to tell me.

If there were a zero, I'd give it. I followed instructions, took photos of a couple of my sick plants. It commended a very bedraggled begonia for its shiny leaves and lovely flowers! It gave me a wrong identification and told me that it "loved the bright purple flowers on my hoya plant (which has clusters of pink flowers). Unfortunately, I went over the number of days trial and so was charged $50 for the pleasure! I could probably chase the money, but I suspect it would be a waste of time.

Will not accept photo taken and continues showing some generic photo…. Plus taking a photo is very problematic…. canceled supposed free subscription 😡

Why do these appear as free as they are not, I am over them!!!!!!
