"Platzrunde.DE" is an application for the iPhone/iPod or iPad and includes all the VFR Charts for the airfields and helicopter landing sites in Germany.
We have integrated all maps of the French AIP for no costs.
You need a registered account for downloading the content or update maps.
Registration is free, but for map updates you have to pay a fee.
During this time, there are monthly updates of the maps.
The download can be renewed at any time after the activation expired.
After expiration the app works as normal, but there are no more updates available.
The switch to an annual update cycle is also due to licensing reasons.
The update of maps is done automatically via a download function in the App.
The Download for the VFR-AIP Germany includes:
- 454 Airport
- 315 Heliports
- 1398 Maps
- ca. 700 MByte
All maps are copyright by DFS (Deutsche Flugsicherung).
For the French VFR-AIP:
- 419 Airports
- 232 Heliports
- 1200 Maps
- ca. 140 MByte
All maps are copyright by SIA.
Maps are not for operational use.
The App is running out iPhoneOS Version 12.0.
The map search is as easy as searching the phone book of the iPhone.
For easier access the maps are divided in Airports and Helicopter landing sites (Heliports).
In addition to the basic search and selection offers the App following functions:
- Create your own favorite list with identification with different icons Airporst / Heliports
- Search for all existing maps
- Scroll and zoom in the displayed map
- full screen view in the map display
- portrait or landscape display in the map view
- brilliant map display on the iPhone or iPad display
- addionational airport information, such as Phone numbers, operating hours e.g.
- Help Site with detailed explanation of the App
- integration of moving map for take-off and circling a chosen place
- automatic update via FTP connection

Super App für den VFR Piloten
Die App ist einfach zu bedienen und macht was was sie soll. Ohne unnötigen Schnickschnack. Moving Map läuft super genau mit hilfreichen Zusatzfunktionen für die Flugplanung. Super Support
Schade
Umständliche Anmeldung, keine Info uber den Abopreis bis man registriert ist. Der Preis zu hoch für AD Karten only. Naja, habs erstmal wieder gelöscht, wird vielleicht mal günstiger...
Umständlich - leider sehr teuer
Super Idee, leider umständlich umgesetzt und 100 EUR für VFR auf 12 Monate sind schon eine Ansage.....
Top Produkt
Super genau und eine tolle Ergänzung zu den normalen digitalen Navigationskarten. Läuft sehr stabil und da mit Richtungsanzeiger ist es auch auf großen Flughäfen sehr gut nutzbar. Die Streckenfindung im Anflug sowie das groundhandling wird sehr vereinfacht. Große Hilfe für meine Flugaktivität.
Wozu?
Wozu brauche ich eine App, die mir lediglich die Anflugkarten zur Verfügung stellt und dann noch soviel kostet, wie andere Programme, die aber zusätzlich eine komplette Navigation mit Wetter, Streckenplanung, etc. enthalten?

Sehr gute und hilfreiche App. Einfach zu bedienen, immer aktuelle Karten und einfach auszudrucken. Für jeden Pilot zu empfehlen.
Platzrunden Moving Map extra klasse
Super App., für weniger als Jeppesen oder DFS Abo erhâlt man die Offiziellen DFS DE Platzrunden mit Infos als Moving Map. Ideal fürs iPad - neu ist die Anfluglinie und den Flieger zu editieren. Alles funktioniert ohne ruckel und einwandfrei. Klasse die Record Funktion zum nach- freuen überveine perfekte Platzrunde
Nix für iPad Mini?
Leider scheint die App auf dem iPad Mini nicht zu laufen. Idee gut, technische Umsetzung scheinbar nicht . :-(
Super App und super freundlich
Hallo, ich habe mir diese App im Zusammenhang mit meiner Pilozenlizenz zugelegt und hatte auch das Problem, dass die Basisversion nicht Funktionierte. Der Support jedoch von Herrn Steuper war herausragend gut. Durch seine schnelle und mehr als freundliche Hilfe bin ich jetzt mit der App super zufrieden. Herr Steuper ermöglichte es mir ohne Kosten ältere Karten in der Abo-version zu testen und alles Funktioniert. Daher habe ich gleich ohne nachzudenken das neue Kartenpakez gekauft. Hier muss ich einfach 5 Sterne vergeben, auch wenn die Basisversion kleine Fehler beinhaltet. Aber das Abo und der Kontakt ist einfach Perfekt. Ich kann die App nur empfehlen. Vor allem für Piloten. Einfach Super!
