Scheduling App is not Transparent
They have two ways you can wait in line when a class is full. Option 1 is the day of the class in the studio, which is “spot” in the app. Option 2 is waitlisted, which actually says “waitlist” in the app. When you are actually booked in a class it says “spot with a #”. This is very close to the booking confirmation for option 1. Today I witnessed multiple people not understand they weren’t in class because their app just says “Spot”. This is confusing and too close to the app uses when you are actually reserved in the class. Come up with something else. Literally no one chooses to come to your studio and wait if they aren’t guaranteed a spot. Look up Orangetheory’s waitlist policy. That policy makes more sense and wastes less people’s time. I have never witnessed what I witnessed today in studio at any other workout studio before. I have never reviewed an app before, but this app is the worst app I have used in 2024 by far and warrants a review. I am guessing the 5 star review is for the actual workout studio and belongs on a Google review business page, as oppose to an app review. You can’t cancel a class on your booked classes screen. You don’t know if you are in the classes or not. It’s hard to tell if you are booking to the waitlist or a “spot”. Cheap development and poorly thought out. People have better things to do than decode your scheduling. When management shows you the app when you become a member they fully disclose “The scheduling app is confusing.”
