I downloaded this at the hotel so I could use at Pompeii as a tour guide and I get here and it’s worthless. If there is a way to access the virtual guide I have had no luck figuring it out and I am in tech. So I’ve had to download another app.

It does not replace the rental tour found at the entrance of the Pompeii site. None of the features were particularly helpful. AR was a bust. I had no need for the hotel booking aspect. The written descriptions of sites were too general to be informative. I do not recommend this app.
I was in Pompeii Scavi and wanted to download a useful guide app. I downloaded this app and paid €3.99 and couldn’t get anything as guidance to work- no mark on map except for your current location. The only available map is a simple picture with low resolution and clicking on poi on map does nothing but move the map around. This was wasteful and not an accurate product as it described.
Hoping to get enuff reviews so people know to avoid at 1st glance. Aside from not being user friendly I couldn’t get any interaction between the maps and the sites listed on the map. In other words when I pressed a site on the map no information popped up. The non-interactive printed maps are free at the info center in Pompeii.
Ultra annoying pop ups keep asking you to upgrade.
I purchased this thinking it would be useful while exploring the ruins of Pompeii. However, the map doesn't show your location. There is some detail about a few of the sites but not enough to make it worthwhile, nor is there any meaningful way to locate that information. The site itself does have a recommended app, however if you're just visiting for a day, you're probably not going to have an internet connection to download it. Anyway, get another app and save your money on this one.
App useless if you do not buy the map and when u pay $5 for the map is the same as using the map u get in pompei, worst app ever, lost 5 dolars
Wish I could get my money back. Downloaded paid app while at Pompeii and found it useless.
Downloaded this as a means of skipping the audio guide at Pompeii. To access a map (which is much needed in this sprawling city), you have to pay and it doesn't even use GPS to let you know where you are. So I'd recommend downloading the free and better CityMaps2Go map and preloading the Wikipedia page on your phone. You'd get the same information and a much clearer idea of how to get where you want to go.
