I have been looking for a good beginner app for Japanese, and this certainly fits the ticket! Can’t wait to see the vocab Ryan adds. My favorite TikTokker just got cooler.

Would like to see a san-serif option, when enabling sound also flip the card to show it. Flicking left and right are nice but flicking up or down should also shuffle the card. The app crashed when reaching the end of the deck. Perhaps some stats at the end, common skipped, etc. Last feedback the chart should match the orientation of the device, should not need to rotate the device to see the chart, I know it’s in the tradition layout but very ux silly to rotate.

So i’ve been wanting to practice japanese for a whole but most of the apps I use make me pay, But this one teaches the basics of the katakana and hiragana with no pay. If you’re just starting, this app is good for you, the creator also teaches a few words so be sure to check out his account!
