Primal

It’s hard to know always what’s going on and sometimes we are just trying really hard to do the right thing. So many times we are let down. But we keep trying! I’m feeling good about Nostr and Primal, etc rn. It’s like I want to be here versus feeling caught in something. It’s like I am hungry for people’s input versus feeling saturated and dead. I’m excited about it🐢🤍🕺

Easiest way to get started with Nostr, and the devs are very responsive.

Great Nostr app

Very smooth and fast. The feed is much more organized than damus. A lot of the problems I have complained about to the team have gotten fixed. The only thing that isn’t accurate on primal are note reactions. I have to check damus to see them more accurately. Also there seems to be a bug where I lose my relays sometimes when I switch to desktop. Once these issues are fixed I won’t have to use any other clients 💜

I have been extremely impressed with this app. I’ve been trying to find a way to interface with Nostr and tried a few options but Primal has been the best to date. The clean interface and SOLID Lightning integration is hands down the best I’ve seen. Decent search and VERY stable. If you are trying to figure out this social media alternative to Twitter, save yourself time and head…go with Primal. I still use Twitter but now Nostr has a solid app in Primal that I find myself opening it more and more. Very well done! And it’s free! Send these guys some sats. I did.

If friends send a reaction from other nostr apps on my note, such as thumb-up, or a smiling face, I will not receive any alert even if I open Primal. Maybe Primal only supports heart? But for replies, comments, everything is fine.
