Established in 1963, Heep Hong Society is one of the leading service providers of early intervention and education service for children with special needs in Hong Kong. Our mission is to help children of different abilities reach their full potential in a happy and healthy environment, thereby contributing to a more inclusive society, Heep Hong serves more than 6,000 families each year.
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disabilities often get stuck or irritated when facing unforeseeable incidents, sudden change in living environment and daily routines. Problem Solving Kit - Lite version aims at preparing children for possible changes and emergency situations by improving their problem-solving skills through interactive games. This app covers four scenarios including daily life, school, emergency situations and social interaction. Children will be able to learn how to overcome the problems by themselves via 4 stimulated games.
1. Content:
Daily life: New family member
Emergency situations: encounter a fire
School: losing personal belongings (e.g. Octopus, stationery, books, etc)
Social interaction: pay a New Year’s visit etc.
2. 2 types of interactive games
3. User-friendly interface
4. Language: Cantonese and Mandarin
5. Subtitle selection: Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese

Lite Version
- 4 topics include 4 different situations
- 2 types of games and totally 4 interactive games
