Pathetic app experience
Today, i.e., February 23, 2024, I intended to book a ticket via this app. However, to my surprise, after installation, it forced me to sign up with Gmail, iCloud, or Facebook, which is a wrong practice because one should choose whether to sign up with IDs or manually input data. On the one hand, it took my Gmail credentials with a password, and a message popped up stating that sign-up failed. After that, the app provided an option to input the data. On the other hand, I continued tapping to no avail, unable to type a single alphabet throughout my attempts. Eventually, this left me with frustration, and I deleted the app. This initial experience reflects poorly on the services. It is pertinent to mention that in Pakistan, almost all ticket booking apps on iOS are subpar. Some have signup and login issues, refund problems, and others with various issues such as online payment processing and booking failures. If companies cannot afford it, why do they build apps? RIP.
