Just a quick heads-up for anyone who still has the 32-bit version of QuestLord installed or offloaded: your old save data will make the 64-bit version of the game freeze on the main menu. You'll need to delete & reinstall the app to make it work again.
Anyway, if you haven't played this before, get it! It's great. This game alone stopped me from installing iOS 11 for ages.
Gem from a Classic genre
There aren't enough games like this on the App Store. A real tribute to first person RPG's
All time favourite, still play it.
This is a great game and terrific value for money. It has an interesting, well paced story, fun gameplay, a sense of humour, rewards for going the extra mile, and easy to get straight into. I've played it through numerous times with each different hero, the elf being the hardest. Each one starts in a different centre. It's got everything you could want in a fantasy adventure.
I've played many adventures but this one keeps me coming back. I just don't feel the exhaustion I have with other more extensive and complicated games. I've had it for a couple of years now and still play it. Worth much more than what you pay, and not even a single annoying in app purchase in sight.
My only criticism is that it becomes very tough in the last scenario, perhaps a little over-tough considering the expectations the player has up to this point. And the elf is much more difficult to play when using magic as your primary weapon, the spells should be more powerful or give more mana. But still, I managed it.
Thanks so much to the devs, and loved meeting you, that time.
Enjoyable old school RPG
It's very reminiscent of the old D&D / Ultima type games. Haven't explored too far in the game yet, so I can't comment on any issues or bugs, but the game is fairly easy to work out.
Would be nice to have a save button, just for peace of mind. Enjoyable fun so far.
Great game
Overall, great game, for those who like turn based RPGs.
A few minor flaws I found in the game play:
1. Turning or using your map, should not take a turn while fighting (as it doesn’t for your foes).
2. There is no way to step sideways, although common and useful in this type of games
Awful
Annoyed that I actually paid money for this!
Fantastic game
Well worth every cent
Wonderful, lengthy retro RPG
This is an absolutely wonderful RPG, like a retro version of The Quest series or Undercroft, and quite similar to Dragon Bane II or Princess Demelza if you've played those.
Classic RPG fans will really enjoy it. It's also long - hours and hours of adventuring and questing.
Great game
This game is a must if your a fan of retro games like Might and Magic. Controls are easy to use/learn, combat is easy. Just a great game.
