great for storm chasing and staying on top of weather. use almost everyday and it’s only getting better!

Overall, this is great weather app, with lots more than just radar. RadarOmega has things RadarScope doesn’t, like manual storm tracking, live webcams, volumetric 3D radar, tropical weather tracking, model data, and more. RapidSweep is a welcome addition with the latest update, which allows you to see the radar scan in near real-time. But the app is laggy, especially when viewing volumetric 3D radar. Even with the latest hardware I found this feature almost unusable. Even doing the most basic thing (like viewing the radar) the app frequently refreshes. One second you’re looking at the radar and the next you’re looking at a black screen, then the map layers and data start to populate. There’s also little UI annoyances like there being two county lines overlays on top of each other that don’t line up. The menu is ugly and difficult to navigate; it just doesn’t look polished. I really WANT to like RadarOmega, and I will continue to use the app for those moments when I want to track a hurricane or view the latest model runs on the go, but for an everyday, reliable, stable radar app I’m sticking to RadarScope…for now.

I have to constantly reload this app on my iPhone and iPad. It is very annoying especially when I want a quick glance at the weather during a threatening period. Please get this fixed.

It’s not perfect but it’s a solid 4 star app, except for the “mapbox” ad banner at the bottom of the app right below the toolbar. This seems new, I don’t remember it from before. I get that maybe you’ve licensed Mapbox but put the banner somewhere I’m not going to click it. Or just watermark their name in the corner of the map. Putting it below the toolbar and making it clickable screams that you want users to accidentally click it for some financial gain on your part. I paid for this app and I paid for a subscription. I don’t want ads as part of that.

This is the best radar app I ever had. But all of a sudden when I opened the app the loading screen never went away. Does anyone know how I’m supposed to fix it? I really like this app and I have nothing else that is as advanced as it.

So to keep it short it’s an amazing app! It provides so many features without a subscription and overall it’s a good app! I hope one day it passes radarscope

Real weather in real time. Helped greatly with a recent tornado we had nearby and I always know what the skies are doing above my head. Found this from Ryan Hall Ya’ll on Youtube, the best weather guy around.

I love RadarOmega! I love being able to have everything I want to be able to see weather-wise in one app, whether it be mesoscale discussions, SPC outlooks, local radar, MRMS radar, among others. I’m an alpha subscriber and love being able to use the many features that go along with it. However, a couple of quick toughts: 1. I wish that the RadarSweep was a featured added into alpha instead of having to pay extra just to get it. I understand that was likely an expensive add to the app and that’s why it had to be on it’s own, but at the same time I wish it was in a subscriber tier and not something you had to pay extra for in addition to a subscription. 2. I especially love the dual view feature, and the quad view feature on my computer. A problem I have with it tough is I’m limited to only seeing certain things depending on what I have on. For example, if I’m looking at KOHX, I can only see features coming out of KOHX, such as Reflectivity and Velocity. I can’t look at reflectivity from KOHX and reflectivity from KHTX or another radar at the same time, or KOHX reflectivity alongside the latest HRRR run. I would love to eventually be able to do that. 3. I wish it could be made possible to see satellite & radar on the same screen at the same time. I like keeping MRMS data on a TV screen when I’m working on school or other things just so I always have a glance of what’s going on in the world of weather. I wish I was able to view MRMS and visible satellite on the same screen at the same time (without dual view) just like I would during TV News to see what things like that may look at. Overall, I’m very impressed with this app and the amazing things I can see as a weather nerd I can’t see with another app. Thanks for everything you do!

I dislike this radar because of how messy the colors are and storms , good features but I can’t with the colors
