Atrocious interface
The issue list is impossible to navigate. You need to scroll for a really long time down a list of slowly-loading issues to reach the earliest ones, with the list randomly jumping back to the most recent as you do.

• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. This does not affect your statutory rights
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Too many failures
The app is good but far too often access to purchases is lost and the subscriber number has to be entered to restore things. Today that does not even work.
Hopeless
This is a terrible app. It keeps dying or not recognising one’s code. They should refund the subscription!
Problems, yet again!!
RT are asking me to ‘pay’ for the latest edition, yet again but, I have an annual subscription!!! And yet again, it doesn’t recognise my subscription number!😡🤬 Please get sorted🙏 Oh! And please bring back the facility to mark programs for recording, we keep asking for this but, as usual being totally ignored!😡🤬
Unable to sign in
I am unable to sign in to the app on my new iPad - I just keep getting the message that the code I am using is invalid. I have checked, double checked and triple checked my print subscription number but it just isn’t being recognised. This makes the app totally useless as I am not going to pay again for issues that should be available to me as I have a print subscription.
Really annoying app
Whenever I minimise the app then reopen it takes me to a random page in the magazine rather than back to the page I was previously on. I then have to close the magazine then open to find the current page. Please could this be fixed as it offers a very poor user experience.
Mark programmes?
I downloaded this app to highlight programmes. Your app information states I can do this. Nothing in guide showing how. I can bookmark pages but cannot see how to see more than one page that has been bookmarked. More importantly, how do I highlight programmes that I’m interested in? If not please amend your description in App Store as it is misleading. Happy to amend my rating if you can advise how to do this otherwise this is just an e-reader with poor functionality.
Poor access and poor customer service
I repeatedly get a screen telling me to sign in with a big blue button that does absolutely nothing. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it which eventually works - until the next time. I have completed the form that the developer has asked other complainants to complete and the response has been to contact Apple. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
Current editions revert to payment charge,.
My Radio Times keeps reverting to payment request when I have a current subscription and when I insert my subscription number it still requests payment. The current week has now reverted to that whilst next weeks and past weeks are available via the “cloud” symbol without charge. Not very good and annoying.
Disappointing and Poor Integration
I just paid the one off fee for the Christmas edition only to find it feels like they’ve uploaded a PDF to a web browser. Absolutely no optimisation with iPhone, laggy Page turns, and very uninviting to read. What a disappointment from such a well-known magazine.
