Hi, forecast for zip code 420140 is not loading. So weather adjustment is not working. The connection to equipment via app is quite long (10-15 sec), that these days looks too archaic. The other works well.

The wifi module connected thats needed to connect to the app is expensive. I would assume for this money you get something. But what you get is so basic, slow and stupid that it is hard to understand how can a company release something like that. For example you can not alter the irrigation time for the zones during the day. I would set one for 10 minutes in the morning than only 2 minutes at noon and another 5 minutes at 4pm. Its not possible. I also couldn’t find any solution two run 2 zones at the same time. I have a dripping zone that I would like sometime to run individually but would be good to run together with other zones. Not possible.

Continuous connection problems.

Can’t run a manual irrigation for all zones. If you need to run manually (not programmed) you must do it step by step each zone at a time, which is nonsense....

Rain-Bird should be ashamed of the software and poor connectivity. I had a Rain Machine at my previous home and it was far, far better than the Rain-Bird the landscaper installed at my new home. WiFi module is poor. I had to install an access point within a few feet to get things running without 85% failure. Always waiting on connections to Rain-Bird server. I have a commercial grade network at my home. Gig speed and great performance for all my work and play endpoints. Rain-Bird controller, WiFi and software are pure junk when it comes to intelligent control. Wasted money as I will replace it with another Rain Machine-like system that performs better and no requirement for cloud interaction.
