Do not buy. They don’t make you are of the auto renewal and take $79.99 out!! Without an confirmation or even an email advising of charge. It is very sneaky and I have reported to PayPal.

Like others have mentioned- zero communication about subscription renewals. Contacted previously to cancel and still got charged.

A complete scam. I bought this book for my wife, I thought the idea of a personalised book for her and our dog to be cute. I was then offered a purchase of an app for a further $60 bucks and thought ok. A year later (we didn’t use the app) I get charged another $60 bucks. I logged onto the app for the first time and lo and behold there ISN'T EVEN A PLACE TO UNSUBSCRIBE . This is misleading and fraudulent- I asked for a refund and was told by their support that since the product was “delivered” there wouldn’t be one.

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM! I initially purchased a book from them (which is pricey to begin with but I thought since it’s customised, it would be worth it. It totally didn’t. Very generic advices in the book.). I just got charged $79.99 AUD for a 3 month subscription to this app which I have no recollection of subscribing to in the first instance. I requested a refund and cancellation of the subscription. Cancellation was actioned quickly with no issue but refund was denied as they do not refund digital products. They then proceeded to say that they have evidence that I have been using this app. I DELETED THIS APP AGES AGO! This app tells the same information as the book and is cumbersome to use. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR BOOK OR THE APP! YouTube can probably teach you more and it is for free!

Book ok, charges excessive and poorly communicated

These guys make it extremely difficult to cancel any subscription. You didn’t even realise that you made by hiding it all in the terms and conditions which is not available from within the app they take your money repeatedly in the hope that you don’t notice and then refuse to provide a refund. They clearly don’t care about the public reviews that people are making about them and continued to operate this way. Don't buy this app

Absolute scam, book is pretty much AI generated and they then charge you for a subscription you didn’t sign up for 3 months later. Completely fraudulent.

I suddenly got an attempted charge of 79 aud. I suspect like me, these other people reporting this issue actually signed up for the app when they bought the book (and not using apple), but just forgot about it. And they do say in there terms you need to email them to cancel if you did that, which I also did and forgot about. Raising dog you need to send proper notifications of renewing subscriptions to your users, as I loved your book, but didnt use the app, and now this has soured the experience a bit. If i had got an email prior telling me of this, I would have just cancelled that and this wouldnt have been an issue like it is now.

As others have reviewed, was automatically signed up to a 3-monthly payment subscription. Luckily I paid through PayPal and was able to cancel it that way, as there doesn’t seem to be any other way to contact them. Recommend downloading it and cancelling any disruptions via PayPal immediately. I’m hoping it’s worth the scam. 1 star for a sneaky, dishonest payment system which honestly sours the whole thing for me.
