App not functioning after 23september update

It shows unknown error occurred upon usage.

Brilliant

This is hands down the best reader I’ve ever used. The others despite tall claims simply do not sound real. This reads it to you, with amazing nuance and tone, understanding how the words are to be spoken. Read a story book and be amazed at how it reads the conversations like the character saying them. Absolutely brilliant. It’s still a work in progress so some minor tweaks are needed such as server response times can be slow sometimes. And the celebrity premium voices are chef’s kiss. Having Burt Reynolds read it for me is hands down my favourite at this point.

ITS FREE AND I LOVE IT.

The best thing ever. I really wanted to listen to audio books. But audiobooks voices were too robotic and boring. I always wanted something like this. And the fact everything is free. Unlike Eleven labs voice generator where you have limited words and you have to pay. I was hoping its all free. And I cant be more grateful 😭

Only works for short text

The app stops after about the first 5 minutes of text and doesn’t load the next segment. Update July 11, 2024 The issue above has been fixed. There are still lots of room for improvement. If you want to re-listen to something, you need to manually scroll all the way up and tap on the first word. It would be great if it can automatically create table of contents so that we can jump to different sections

Same problem

I am having the same problem as another reviewer. The app will start off sounding great and read for a short while and then suddenly freeze. I downloaded it to both my iPad and iPhone with various settings but got the same result. It would be an excellent app if it only worked!
