La app de prueba ReadID (anteriormente conocida como NFC Passport Reader) lee y verifica el chip NFC integrado en pasaportes electrónicos, documentos nacionales de identidad y otros documentos de identidad que cumplen con los estándares ICAO (Pasaportes electrónicos, o en terminología ICAO 9309, documentos de viaje de lectura mecánica -MRTD-). La app escanea de forma óptica (OCR) el área de lectura mecánica (MRZ) para acceder al chip. A continuación, lee la información en el chip mediante NFC y muestra los datos biográficos y biométricos del portador del documento, así como la información del documento, tras lo cual muestra los resultados de comprobaciones de seguridad realizadas mediante autenticación activa, autenticación del chip y autenticación pasiva.
La app también es compatible con permisos de conducir electrónicos (eDL, ISO 18013, limitada a permisos de conducir holandeses).

why does not work with iphone 6s
Can’t read my green card
This is a good app👍but why I can’t read my green card(US)?🤔
Doesn’t work….at all.
Scanned the image of my passport fine. I followed directions and even used another app to ensure my NFC reader is active on my phone. Running iOS 16.6 - iPhone 13 mini. Have yet to have it read once. Even removed the case on my phone, thinking that had something to do with it. Nada. Zip. UPDATE - I actually read that someone said to slowly move the phone around. This did work after the third try. So, now it seems I can get it to scan sporadically. But thats something!

After Scanning It Resets
Right after scanning when you press Next it resets the whole thing. Can't look at the information for more than a few seconds. 2/5 at most
This app a big joke
If you looking for a good MFC Reader/Writer look elsewhere. This App is a big joke.
More people need to know about this app!
I washed my passport right before a trip to Cabo and the closest appointment to get a new passport would have been an 8hr drive. Thank god I found this app, I used it and the moment of truth was today as I checked in and everything worked! 🙌🏼
It works
It works but had to doing it horizontally during scanning my passport. I wish there was function to copy and paste the data.
Wash your US Passport?
If you’ve accidentally washed your passport like I have then this app will help you! I washed my passport but the physical appearance and everything else looked fine but was worried about the RFID chip. This app helped me check whether it was working or not. The chip worked and I was able to smoothly fly to my vacation. This app needs to be marketed on Reddit boards and TripAdvisor pages since accidentally washing your passport seems to happen more often than you think…
