Readwise

It seems pretty stupid

Каждый день перечитываю по 10 цитат из книг — отлично помогает повторять и учиться. Умеет в синхронизацию с Roam Research, Notion, Command и другими приложениями, что в итоге делает из Readwise незаменимый хаб по работе с хайлатами их самых разных источников.

Unfortunately I am really disappointed with this mobile app. I’ve read brilliant recommendations but it is just impossible to find the rights functions in the mobile app. It is one of the least user friendly apps I’ve seen, frankly. You should really fix the usability!

Ontzettend tevreden en blij met deze app. Het brengt een mindset met zich mee. Naast het verzamelen van materiaal uit meerdere bronnen, geeft je ook de kans om boeken en artikelen te reviewen om ze beter te integreren in je dagelijks leven. Onmisbaar in mijn onderzoek-routine.

Een echte vondst voor alle liefhebbers van lezen en constante zelfverbetering. Deze applicatie helpt bij het opslaan en organiseren van de belangrijkste en meest memorabele momenten uit boeken, artikelen en andere bronnen die u hebt gelezen.

Ik ben blij en verrast over deze app, had niet verwacht dat ik er zoveel uit zou halen. Het is verbazend waardevol om dagelijks een aantal citaten te lezen uit eerder gelezen boeken. Dat gaat heel vlot en is luchtig en zorgt er toch voor dat inhoud veel dieper gaat zitten én gemakkelijker te onthouden is. De app is gekoppeld aan mijn e-reader waardoor die citaten automatisch in de app komen. Als ik een fysiek boek lees, maak ik een foto en daarmee een quote. Dat is even werk, maar ook dat zorgt er weer voor dat ik dieper stil sta bij de inhoud. Ik gebruik de app nu een maand of drie en denk dat het een blijver is voor de héle lange termijn.

Overall I absolutely LOVE Readwise. It greatly helps me remember interesting bits of books and articles I’ve read. And the apps are mostly pretty good and help you do what you want to do. But here and there the apps are downright clunky. For example, if you missed a review, it’s recoverable for about a week. But tapping the date to recover requires enormous precision and the UI isn’t very clear if you tapped the right date. Then after recovering, the screen with the streak isn’t refreshed. Not a huge problem, but this and other stuff makes the app feel like a very promising beta version instead of the mature app that is actually is.

A friend recommended me Readwise when we were talking about books. It's just been a couple of days, and I already love it. It is so much seamless revising highlights from books I am reading. Thank you, Readwise.

Works well with Kindle. But it's impossible to export highlights from the latest Apple Books version into Readwise. Very disappointing! This should be stated clearly in the app store description.

Nice job the service is very engaging and I think is based on the basis that repeated reading will improve your understanding of the things you read and help you remember more of it
