RecordPad Sound Recorder

Records easily on my iPhone 11 with good quality sound but there’s no means of saving into my files and therefore it can’t be sent on elsewhere. The only option for sending a file is email and as I’m recording for the local talking newspaper, the files are too big for email.

Just downloaded this app to a new iPod mini and it won't open.

Installed ok and recorded ok at default rate, but crashed when I tried to change recording rate to MP3 - 128. don't seem to be able to get it to change to any other rate either... Help!!!

Installed on ipad2 and made first recording. When trying to make a second recording the app crashes and closes as soon as I touch the record button. Not stable enoug for my use In podcasting, which is a shame as nice app.

Having searched high and low for an app with built-in input level adjustment, I at last found this. It allowed me to record a gig I was playing at without distortion, right next to the drums! Only problem is that playback tends to skip and falter every minute or so. Sort that out in an update and you have a great little app that fills a gap in the app Market.

Lovely graphics, records and plays back well. I love that it has built-in ability send via ftp or email, but have problems getting them to work. A short file -- 30 secs -- transfered fine via email, but my recordings tend to be an hour long. That didn't email and i haven't been able to successfully transfer via ftp because it takes so long: 10 minutes for 10% of the file means almost two hours for the whole thing. May be my problem rather than inherent to the program. But at least the iphone's built-in `Voice Memos' recorder transfers fast via itunes. This looks better, but is less useful.

Quick download, easy to use and making adjustments are easy as well. I use this app to get Gods word out to the listening area and this allows me to be mobile, at home or in the sanctuary.

I have at least six “recording apps” on my iPhone 8, but it’s RecordPad that I always open when I’m in the field and realize I need to capture some sounds. It’s the fastest app — least delay between opening to actually recording

I had hoped for easy to use tool for dictation and for making short audio clips, but it is in my opinion hard to use and still has many bugs. Maybe the developer gave up since they have not provided any updates in over a year.
