Recently the app has started losing my favorite settings. Again and again. Very frustrating!!!!! Now the recent update has me signing the consent documents again and again every few days.
Even though there’s an option for the Apple Watch, it only works if you have the app open on your phone, which makes the watch app pointless.
My new Nexias were disconnecting from the Smart 3D app (and my Apple Watch) whenever the Smart 3D app was running in the background on my iPhone or if the phone auto-locked. If I reopend the Smart 3D app, the hearing aids reconnected, but sometimes slowly or not at all. Having to frequently reconnect my hearing aids to the app was frustrating. However, I resolved the problem by deselecting the “Optimize MFi Connection” (in the “More” menu). Now, my Nexias quickly and seamlessly connect to the Smart 3D app when I first open it in the morning, and they remain connected while it runs in the background.
I’m on my 2nd pair of aids. I believe the hardware is fine but Resound Bluetooth implementation not so much! Right aid disconnects several times a day. And that’s after a 2nd streamer which corrected a random hearing aid resets. I spent a lot of money for a product that seems to be in beta.
Perhaps an upgrade should be considered. App drops connection w/ hearing aids pretty consistently. Phone is always w/in 2-3 ft of hearing aids.
On top of all the other issues with your APP why would you do upgrades in the middle of the day that require the hearing aids to be placed in their charger . We don’t carry our chargers with us and being HARD OF HEARING need to be able to change our settings during the day. Makes no sense
I will not recommend the use of this app. Nearly every time I open this app the settings are changed and I usually have to restart one of my hearing aids. When on phone calls no one can hear my end of the call. I have bypass the app by reverting to the microphone setting in my phone. When on speaker setting I cannot always understand the other party due to my hearing loss. While searching your website I cannot find help for any of the above problems. Can you advise?
