Advanced order taking? Not so simple
I signed up for this service in anticipation of my opening night selling pizzas. I advertised online preorders to customers based on the perceived abilities of this app and its connected service through GloriaFood. However, there is no organization to the order process once placed by a customer. This app prevents you from viewing any advanced preorders until the time your restaurant opens, meaning you are completely in the dark about your pending orders until the kitchen opens. The result is that all preorders flood in at once, with no priority, ability to restrict orders placed for the same time slot, or even to mark them as completed once fulfilled by the kitchen. Additionally, customers looking to place an advanced order for pickup outside of dine in hours are met with a red warning banner indicating the restaurant is not open for dine in, leading customers to believe they cannot place orders and resulting in a loss of sales. And of course, technical support was no help with any of my concerns (which I raised in advance) and would not provide a refund. I would have been better off having customers text me their order than use this disorganized app. Buyer beware.
