Just soundless videos. That mAy be all you need but I was looking for more. I seem to be in the minority.
Thank you for creating this app!!
this is so good for amateurs
This video is helpful for the LAY rescuer. The AHA standards for Lay Rescuers (i.e. Family and Friends CPR) does *not* inculde pulse checks. This is a decent app.....it is not intended for medical professionals and should not be held to that standard. As for Mouth to Mouth, that is optional for adults and is recommeded for infants and children.
To address a previous comment ... ALGORITHMS ... Really?! How is the average person having a picnic at the park supposed to diagnosis & treat that?!? I'm almost positive this app is NOT intended for cardiologists or the nursing staff of the cardiac wing at a hospital! It's irresponsible jabs that bring down GOOD apps b/c people see a low rating and skip over a very nice app for something else!
Why put out junk for life saving info? Where is unconscious croaking or algorithms? Info is lacking many steps, like checking scene. Shame on you
This app is very helpful for lay rescuers. I am AHA certified instructor for over 20 years. I frequently teach Family and Friends CPR. I always show this this app at the end of class and recommend they download it for backup in case of emergency. To address a previous comment. The only rescuers who perform pulse checks are medical professionals. That component was removed for the lay rescuers many years ago. As for mouth to mouth, if one is performing on a family member they usually are not uncomfortable using that method. On older children and adults "Hands Only" is perfectly acceptable.
