Revel: All-Electric Rides

I did a trip to NY and tried two times to get a car from Revel and the two times the Driver never showed up and sent a cancellation no matter I was in the picking point. The map interaction is very crappy and unreliable. I was charge for not using a service. 😡

Very good motorcycle very expensive trip

The app does not work with 4G, only with WiFi. I have restarted and redownloaded app many times and still nothing. My wife has the same issue. I waited for half hour to reach customer service and they couldn’t help me. I had to find a Starbucks to get on a public WiFi and park near there, which took a long time because there are only a few parking zones in downtown Manhattan. Ended up spending way more money. I have found riders battling with their apps as well because it sometimes doesn’t show the parking zones on the map. Good luck finding public WiFi. Personal hotspot would not work either.

This is absolutely the most cost effective and safest ride share in Manhattan. There’s no doubt in what kind of service and safety you’re receiving. I love it.

I had been getting sponsored ads for this app every time I would travel to cities that they service. So finally I gave in and decided I will use them for a trip to the airport. I scheduled a ride a day in advance to ensure they would arrive. I waited 30 minutes and as my driver was 1 minute away he canceled. Then I was promoted for 15 minutes to “find another drive” only for it to get canceled and the rates to then go 5x what I scheduled for. Ultimately ended up being cheaper to call an Uber and I was charged an additionally $40. I would not recommend this app

I really enjoy knowing the type of vehicle picking me up and the assurance that it will be clean. I can just sit back and enjoy the ride. Pricing is affordable as well and great special offers!

First time using revel, I booked an early morning ride to the airport over 24 hours in advance and the app authorized my card. I was notified TEN MINUTES before I was scheduled to leave that I could not be matched with a driver - in Manhattan! Was looking forward to having a new ride service to the airport but this company is not reliable. I will stick to Lyft.

Teach your drivers locations of their services so they know where to pick up customers

I wanted to try this because of all the ads I saw but when I downloaded the app it asked me to put in my name, and the only button after that was “sign out” not “enter” or “next” so it was impossible to complete logging into my account. Buggy app and too bad because I would have used it from LGA to home.
