Reverse Chord Finder Pro

I thought this app would show me the chord I was playing. After buying it, discovered there is no MIDI support and there is no iPad version. You have to manually enter the chord in your instrument. Really pointless. I wanted a chord recognition that takes in what I am playing via MIDI and shows it to me. Why hasn’t anyone made this app already??? At the price this developer is asking, this is pure greed. I want my money back!

I’m a professional guitarist and this app is excellent for figuring out and naming chords. Great for practical use and brushing up on chord theory.

I love this app. It’s perfect for someone writing songs. If you don’t know what the cord is from the shape you’re making, type it in and bam there’s your answer.

Have carried this app on my phone several years now. It has never failed to perform for the functions for which I originally obtained it…plus the interface is elegant! Great work resulting in a great app! Thank you ReverseChord team!

I found the capo feature isn’t working. For example, an open position D major shape should not have the same notes as when in front of a capo at the second fret (or anywhere else), yet that is exactly what it currently shows in-app. Disappointing but hopefully easy for the developers to correct soon.

This is the guitar chord app Ive waited years for. Well worth it. Quick, simple, accurate.

Come on, you have to pay for piano?

I hate reviews and I gave this was way above 5 stars.

I switched from piano to fingerstyle guitar as my main instrument a few years ago. I could always figure out what chord I was playing on piano, but on guitar, often I have no clue what I am doing. Now I know how to notate some of the stranger chords! I especially like that you can do this with different tunings like Drop-D! Five stars all the way!!
