Amazing strategy game, and educational too!
My history introduced this game to my class, and I’ve had lots of fun playing and learning. I’ve finally beaten it after 2 years of on and off playing

Awsome game guys also if or when you do pls create a civil war version of this American civil war to be precise
I would recommend you download this app if you like war/history themed games I loved it personally the only thing that I didn’t like is when the British marched on to New York or something with like 13000 men and I only have something like 1500 men
Along the vein of dragon pass and it’s sequels sixty saga or something. But this.. this is not fantasy and hits hard, has all the political intrigue like Franklin TV+ series or TurN And it’s free? A damned shame the mainstream game journalists have not covered this. Beautiful game, beautiful artwork, Dolby level sound effects, masterful gameplay mechanics, Intuitive tutorial, Immersive, seductive because it seduces you to think about it when you’re not playing it - the main factors of the seduction being artwork and sound effects imprint onto your mind and how they all mingle with the game mechanics. I would had gladly paid for this! Will remain in my collection for eternity. This is how education (gamification) should be done. 👏 👏 in the future when we are all digital, future edutainment courses will copy this concept.
Perfect, down the the minuscule detail but one. WHY CANT WE PLAY THE FULL REVOLUTION WAR
This game is so fun, very detailed and very good with the small details. I love the pictures the use, I love everything about it. My only knock would be the battles could be a little bit more strategic, the options are strategic but it usually just comes down to having more guys but other than that this is a 10/10 game. I played it for two weeks, it took a few tries to beat it. Would definitely play anything else this dev team kicks out. Download it now if you like strategy games or the rev war.
Game is amazing and I have been looking for something like this forever. Maybe you could make games in the same format but with different situations like ww1 and 2 and maybe the Napoleonic wars
When I get to the mandatory task called ‘Diverted Shipments’, it is not letting me select the option. This is the only task that I have to do to move on to the next phase and it is mandatory. I’m at a roadblock now because of this bug. I simply cannot click on the option like it’s frozen. Please fix this bug so I can keep playing because it’s a very good game.
Fantastic political simulation that falls short because it gives the British historical numbers but not the American forces. You can only bring two generals to a battle and most of them are capped at 1000 men. Washington can have only 4000. The really odd part is there is a total army available amount on top of the screen which probably is too many. But not enough army space with the generals to use them. I am not suggesting that Washington should have enough men to stop Howe from taking New York but when 1777 rolls around even if you have been keeping your armies as close as you can to maximum you will not have anything close to the numbers that Washington had to counter Howe’s Philadelphia campaign and Gates had to fight Burgoyne. The battle system is a bit goofy too. Taunting an enemy is actually one of the ways to score a some hits on the enemy. But I could live with that if they fixed the army cap numbers. If someone has lasted past 1777 I would like to know how. :)
I saw a lot of reviews saying that the game is really hard, and that can be true. I was wrecked the first time I played, I ran out of money and supplies, everyone was starving and after a string of losses everyone lost faith in the revolution and that was the end of that. I learned some lessons though and did manage to beat it with the best ending on my second full playthrough, so it IS possible. First, while I’m militarily incompetent, it’s fortunate for me that the actual results on the fields of Mars aren’t necessarily crucial to the outcome in many cases as much as the propaganda and economic war. Though of course that helps if you can pull off crazy wins. Even if you lose so long as you have the support of the states, you can get more money, supplies and volunteers to fight back later and maybe take back that city… so don’t just give up cities without a fight as that causes a huge loss in support! You need to stand up to the British and do something to show you aren’t just taking their money to stand around playing soldier. But you may say, well how do I stand a chance against a massive horde? Frankly, you probably don’t. But George Washington is your best friend for facing big armies because he has a special ability after a battle is started to retreat without suffering (m)any more losses where other commanders would have options to do something else that would get them ground to a fine paste. I guess the optimistic way to call it is preserving your forces to fight another day. This can help you contest cities without losing much so you can keep the confidence of the states so they’ll still give you money, supplies and volunteers while still keeping enough of a military intact to later clash with the British in actually winnable battles. Though more aggressive commanders like Nathaniel Greene or Benedict Arnold (there’s a certain issue with him) are better in those clashes. Aside from that, try to get the support of the states as much as reasonable. Also, try to stand up for people’s rights as much as you can; it can be tempting to see the immediate benefit from seizing loyalist properties, keeping things easy with the southern states (that you desperately need the support of as they are rich) by supporting the institution of slavery, engaging in piracy, etc., but while it may be necessary to do something questionable from time to time to keep things from going bust completely if you build up a negative pattern of behavior over time then groups tha
