Ask your friend to name any card in the deck. It can be *any* card. Then bring out your iPhone or iPod Touch and let them open the Rising Card app. It displays a photo of a deck of cards. Ask them to think about their card, and then shake the device. As they shake, the card they were thinking about *visibly rises* out of the deck.

Really clever
Really easy to use, ingenious method
Brilliant
A great card trick. Easy to preform. I get the person to write their choice down rather than saying it, as most people think it's voice activated. Shown 100's of people this trick, fools most!!

The update made it a lot better as it only used to use ios 4,5 and 6 technology but now it's much better and will be showing this to many people.

Absolute bomber!! I love this app, though I opt not to use the 'ask your friend to name a card' technique, and instead incorporate it into a card trick in which the subject chooses a card and I pull out my phone and... Hey presto! Their card is displayed on my phone!! Never fails to impress
