Rivercast - Levels & Forecasts

I live on one of the rivers on this site and use this app often. It is great!

Can’t rely on a app that doesn’t update in die time!

Absolutely love this app, I could put a icon on my home screen, so it could show me the levels without me having to actually go into the app and look every time. I was telling a friend about it and had them download it, and it was then that we realized the data is not the same as what the USGS site displays. i’ve gone back to using the old app I used to use, hopefully at some point you guys can get it straightened out.

Our weather patterns have become extreme. The occurrence of heavy rain has become increasingly common. As such, I rely heavily on this app to better understand the Mississippi River levels. Our property is on the river bank and prone to flooding. The 7 day forecast of river levels helps me to prepare to protect my property. Unfortunately, the River will be over flood stage again this week. I was able to move our possessions out of the basement over the weekend and minimize the damage. Great app!!!

So this a great app and I love it but I have no idea if it will still work because NOAA is transitioning its data service (API and XML) to another website and will shutdown soon so I have no idea if this will work in the future.

Gives enough information and simple to use and set alerts for flooding. I am in a high flood risk river and we depend upon it.

Probably the best app I’ve ever used. The app preforms how is needed and is very helpful. The river predictions and depths are used for wildlife management and conservation so these numbers help us prepare for floods, safety issues and know when water levels are getting too low for pumps. The app always works and seems to be managed very well by the inventor.

I purchased the app to see a forecast on the Smith River in Montana. This app doesn’t forecast that river. I’d like a refund please
