Charging does not follow the FAQs guidance
For the most part, I did like my experience with the app. Quick to download, easy to connect and scan the charger. First issue was that I got a warning that my charger has stopped because of an error. So after checking my car, which was charging and then looking back in notifications it had cleared. Carried on charging at a reasonable rate and amount. Second issue, they took £20 to charge as an authorisation fee. No problem with that as it’s better than BPs. However according to their FAQs section once the charge is completed the difference would be reimbursed or paid via my payment method, nothing wrong with that. However, they tried to take the entire payment out of my account instead of the difference, so I would have been £52 out of pocket instead of £32. And then there is no way to initiate a payment through there app to pay the balance. Because of obvious differences in transaction times they can’t guarantee a reimbursement of the £20 for up to 7 days.
