Not working
I try to connect to my Roku tv but it says it’s connected but it’s not working and it’s not anything like it says it is

If you are having issues, please do the following on your Roku TV:
Go to Settings -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Control by mobile apps, and select "Enabled"
In order for RoByte to talk to your Roku, the following must be true:
1. Your Roku must be connected to your home's wifi network.
2. Your iPhone or iPad's wifi must be turned on and connected to the same network as the Roku.
Quick Tips:
• Most problems connecting to your Roku can be resolved by simply reinstalling RoByte.
• RoByte can only connect if you are on the same wifi network as your Roku device.
In most cases, RoByte will automatically scan and find your Roku device but there is a small case where if you have a more complicated setup, you may need to manually enter your Roku's IP address to connect.
If you're still unable to connect to your Roku, theres a good chance there's an issue somewhere within your network. Most common cases are Roku devices getting disconnected from your home wifi if it gets unplugged. You can also try reinstalling RoByte to do a fresh scan.

Infuriating
We download a remote to use with our phones on the chance that the kids lose the physical remote. Every time we try to use this app we have to physically click ok to authorize use AGAIN with the physical remote. If I have the real remote in my hand then why would I be using the app? Fix it 🙄
Don’t waste your money on this app!
I can find no place to contact the developers to report problems. Even their one page website has no contact information. So I’m trying here. This app used to work great. Recent versions of the app have continuous connection problems. I get frequent connect to Wi-Fi errors when my iPhone is already connected. Then it can’t find the Rokus I have even though I’ve hardcoded their IP addresses in the app and confirmed they’re correct. Eventually it does find them after 5 minutes or so. This app never used to do this. I tried deleting it and reinstalling. This did not solve anything but added a new issue. I had bought the pro version of this app years ago when it was just a single one time price not the current subscription model. There is no place for me to enter my old purchase information.

I rated 5 for it to be first but for volume pay easy launch pay and not like one time pay a couple dollars a month for it terribly expensive and it is not a good so hoped you loved this review cause you wont love this game he

I hate you have to pay things like just Roku remote when you actually have a Roku remote
Use the official one it doesn’t cost anything
This one all the features are locked
Useful but limited.
Needs more shortcuts and to work more efficiently with cable boxes
