The version of this app that I downloaded in 2020 worked great. But the current version makes it impossible to read the tittles for my recordings. The date only is displayed in the library. If I want to read the title I have to click on every single recording individually. This is a HUGH time waster. ALSO this app does not synch between iOS devices using the iCloud. I’d like to record on the phone and edit on the iPad. This app won’t allow it. POOR.

Have used it for several years. It just stopped recording and playback recordings from previous. I lost all my previous recordings of conversations.

90% of the time it doesn’t register my Rode AI Micro properly, making it impossible to record. The whole point of the AI Micro is supposed to be easy on the go recording, but the only way I can use it on my iPhone is to adjust the AI Micro mic settings in the Rode Connect App and record in Voice Memo 🙄

Sometimes takes about fifteen seconds to start the app, which can be plenty of time to miss what you were trying to capture. Otherwise makes high quality recordings without ads.

Per Rode’s own support article, the VideoMic Me-C is only able to get updated firmware via the Android app. Firmware updates are not available via iOS.

It hangs. Doesnt stop recording.

I do not know the reason this app should be created by Rode. There's no special features for the rode devices. Unlike Rode Capture, this app cannot change wireless mic setting in the app nor select inputs among bluetooth mic and rode wireless mic. I cannot change the saved file name format at all so I have to fiddle with the actual recording after downooading the audio files.

No support. Constant issues

When I connect my Rode IXY mic, it doesn’t give the high definition option anymore, it just record at standard quality. What is up with that?

After updating to iOS 16, my Videomic Go II is no longer detected as a RODE mic and I can’t access the advanced settings. Please fix this :(
