Rove Dash Cam

The app doesn’t work if your phone has a VPN installed, which leaves your phone exposed. My paid for VPN connects automatically so that I constantly hear “ wifi is connected” and “wifi is disconnected” repeatedly while driving. Moreover I am unable to update the latest Firmware. The link takes me back to my apple settings with no explanation as to what I am supposed to fix.

I takes ages to set up needed to make a video to record reckless driving and was unable because of long useless registration process and in the end serial number from my cam do not can be submitted. The camera and the app is good to be placed in trash bin only. Worst experience waste of money. Avoid at all cost.

Can’t use app because no email verification is sent.

As many have stated, unable to access my videos with mi IPhone. I cannot even connect the camera.

Recording problems every time formatting every time formatting, formatting, formatting, formatting

Not so much the app but the actual device. On numerous occasions recently, the camera cuts out for no reason. I turn the car the car off and then on again and sometimes it comes back on.

The app has some issues connecting to the rove cam with phone other then that it’s a good app

Bought this Rove dashcam 4K Wi-Fi based on the excellent review of amazon. Have been using the camera for a couple months. Finally had a reason to use a video of a recent event it captured. So you think the Wi-Fi option to download the video on my iPhone works. Hell no. Kept stalling out at all sort of different amounts. Had it finally up to 95% at one point which at around 1mbps was painfully slow and it froze again. Tried it in the car. In the house. At least 10 times I tried to download the video and failure. Finally had to resort to old fashioned remove the sd card and download the file that way. And yes I am using the approved Rove micro sd card albeit being extremely expensive over a reputable name brand competitor card. Terrible app. Or camera is not Wi-Fi after all if it can’t download a 3 minute loop video segment.

What is going on?????
